Patch v1.02

Thanks everyone, and thanks judges for awarding our little game a 2nd place on the jam. It’s a honor for me and the team.

Onto the patch notes..

Patch v1.02 / 07.31.26 :

• To speedrunners’ sigh of relief, you can now hold R to Reset the game. Say goodbye to refreshing the page to get that damn alarmless medal on Newgrounds.
• Screen mode changes are now visible on screen via appearing text. As well as changing the scale in the downloadable version of the game.
• Now you can also skip the “Booting..” screen by pressing ENTER or START (you could do that on the intro screen too).
• Added exactly TWO situational additional dialogue branches. There already was enough, but I felt like it.
• Adjusted saved maidens’ positions in overworld.
• Guards now are rendered properly behind and above the player if standing too close.
• Water lilies now have correct animation timings.

I’ve thought about adding medals on Newgrounds for finding some other secrets except the one that you know, as sometimes people do quit, thinking that’s the only one, but I don’t wanna make secrets a thing that you MUST experience, but rather the one that you CAN experience.
