yeah haahah the screenshots make this like 100x shorter than i expected, and also the color=background choice reminds me of the choice i made in my most recent game (not a plug :frooog:) but the vibe/music is so good i can imagine a lot of polish must've gone to making it cohesive, the idea of secret commands is something i've loved in games

admittedly im not sure i understood what the secret was even after finding it. I just jumped around and squashed my keyboard all over. Even after replaying it several times AND solving it several times I couldn't figure out what the actual secret was. Which seems counter intuitive to the theme. "the garden HAD a secret" nuh-uh, it's still a mystery to me !

AH wait its the screenshots. I was about to complain that I thought the screenshots were nice and that I was disappointed the actual game didn't look like that, but after taking a longer look I see it was part of the solution all along. Now the garden has no secret! The end dialogue is a lot more emotionally impactful now.

Still though I was kinda excited thinking i was going into a freaking epic platforming adventure. I like the screenshot art a lot.

Thank youu, Kaia! I’m pretty sure the way you interacted with the game is partly the intended experience. Y’know, excluding the destroying your keyboard one.

Sadly, we PLANNED on making the colorful levels at least partly playable before the main thing, but we were too busy with our own stuff to implement all of that in time before the deadline.

I shall rethink the whole concept again one day as the majority of people seem to be eager to play the garden as it initially advertised itself. Maybe as nosey’s journey 2.0 …

Thank you for playing!
